She's slept for about 1/2 of our drive to Atlanta! Which means so did
mommy...since I'm the one she's keeping up at night! Last night she
knew was our last night & kept wanting to talk about people we saw and
lightning bugs! :)

Ohio

We arrived Ohio Thurs. We stayed at the lake house in Lakengren
(Eaton, OH).
Matt decided we must be roughing it as the lake house had no AC, no
cable & a weak phone signal...but we still had a great time!
Friday we saw my dad - Papa & Ruby and went to Glen Miller to play. We
also did some prep work for the party.
Sat we hosted my 15 yr high school reunion. We had about 20 graduates
plus their families. It started a little rainy, but in the end was
nice & had a good time. Matt couldn't believe that people stayed for
almost 8 hours and then made plans to meet at the Red Front to
continue the festivities (and for me to get yummy mini tacos)! He
doesn't understand Preble County! :)
Sunday we saw Holly Dunn, the Foust family and the Swihart family at
Aunt Thelma's (technically my dad's side of family). It was a nice
turn out of family...I think 20 of us (Thelma/Lloyd, Lon/Kay, Mary,
Janet, Jeannie/Steve, Rita/Erika, Aunt Jeanette & her 2 daughters and
us & the kids).
Mon we went to West Manchester to the Dairy Freeze for my favorite
Black Rasberry Marshmellow milkshake & a Jodie burger...yum! Then we
saw adopted Aunt Diane (Chandler) at Pizza King...YUMMY! Pepperoni &
green olive pizza and breadsticks with cheese sauce...YUM! Love good
food & great company! :) Ended our trip by seeing Heather (Woltja) and
her family.
Most of the pics are on my real camera...so this is just the text
version, but we had a good trip to Ohio.

Wed

Well...we slept a little better last night. Kaylee woke up every 2
hours, but at least there was sleeping in between! :) She sure is a
restless sleeper!
Today I drove & Matt sat in the back with Kaylee....so I couldn't do
updates all day.
We have made it to Ohio and Matt thinks we are seriously roughing
it...no cable & no AC. :) Trying to wear out Kaylee in hopes that
we'll have better sleeping night!

We had a fun day in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge...played putt-putt, then
ate at Apple Barn, then to aquarium & dinner/show at Dixie Stampede!
We finished off the night with swim at hotel.

Sleep

Well that was definately one of the top 5 WORSE nights of sleep I've
ever had! There are so many different things in a hotel compared to a
toddler bedroom (mini-frig, 2 beds, TV, etc)...so Kaylee kept wanting
to get up. I tried to have her sleep by herself so she doesn't get
used to sleeping with me, but after 3+ hours of her not sleeping and
getting up...I slept with her. Still she wanted to talk to me & tosses
& turns ALOT, but at least I could feel her moving & tell her to "LAY
DOWN!"
Hope we have energy for our day...and that night 2 goes better!

Kaylee is still in a crib at home (her choice)...and tonight she is a
Queen! :)
Hope we actually get some sleep!

Finally...

We have arrived in Pigeon Forge...and Kaylee just fell asleep...of
course!

The car is packed...(what have we forgotten?? I'm sure something).
Our first stop is TN. We are going aquarium and to Dixie Stampede.
Tonight we hope to get in early enough to eat at an apple restaraunt
that we ate at on our honeymoon.

We are gonna try to post pics on the go as well as funny things that Kaylee says/does that we forget by the time we sit down at the computer...we hope this will be an easy and fun way to keep up with Kaylee!
